United States pulling out of Durban II

A piece of good news: according to this report, the United States is pulling out of the negotiations for the Durban II conference because anti-Israel and anti-Western tendencies there 'were too deeply entrenched to excise.' Cynics (or is it optimists) like me think that the negative public reaction also helped produce this conclusion. Many thanks to all of you who signed the various petitions - and a great weekend!
