Poor Bosnia

The Islamist influence in Bosnia has been growing slowly but steadily since the war there in the 1990s. The latest evidence: 'Grandfather Frost' (a close cousin of Santa Claus) has been banned in the largely Muslim state-run kindergartens in Sarajevo. This step may seem relatively minor, but when former Bosnian Muslim president Alija Izetbegovic first tried to eliminate Grandfather Frost, the public outcry forced him to back off.
